We will then go to Lion’s Gate and walk to the Pool of Bethesda area to discuss the events in John 5, before going on to the general area of the Antonia Fortress. We will visit Sisters of Notre Dame de Sion−“Ecce Homo” John 19:5, where Jesus was sentenced to be crucified. We will continue on the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus carried the cross to Golgotha. We continue to the Pool of Siloam, the site of one of Jesus’ miracles, and review John 11. After we return to the hotel to change into dry clothes and eat dinner, we enjoy a free evening to experience Jerusalem’s nightlife and prepare for the crescendo of our travels—the final week of the life of our Lord.
