Join Gerrit Dirkmaat and his beautiful wife Angie on this unforgettable tour of the sacred sights of the restoration.
This tour starts in Baltimore and will have a full day honoring our American history at important points including Fort McHenry and the hallowed ground of Gettysburg.
We continue on to visit the new Priesthood Restoration site, the Susquehanna River, Peter Whitmer Farm, Sacred Grove, Palmyra Temple, Niagara Falls, Kirtland Temple, Morley Farm, Whitney Store, and the John Johnson Farm to name a few.
Gerrit Dirkmaat has a PhD. in American History and worked for the Church History Department on the Joseph Smith Papers Project. He will be able to offer insights into the events of the Restoration that are not available anywhere else.
While other companies take 2 and 3 buses on their tours, ours has a 1 bus guarantee that ensures you have an intimate experience at the sites as well as your educator. It allows your group to bond and makes fast friends with those you are traveling with. You will not come home wishing you had more of anything but more time.
Physical activity on this tour: Be advised that the Church Historic Sites are presented in a more natural state, meaning the paths are not paved and the ground is often uneven. To participate fully in the tours of these sites, tour members will need to walk considerable distances on these paths. In addition, to participate in Niagara Falls, the tour members will need to walk with the group around 1/4 mile from the closest bus drop-off to the boat embarkation. In addition, the days are full of touring from breakfast to dinner time with "down-time" only in the evening.
Highlights of the Tour:
- 1 tour-bus experience for the whole tour!
