Today visit Edinburgh Castle home to the Scottish Crown Jewels. Your panoramic and walking tour of old and new Edinburgh combines Georgian architecture, writers and monuments, alleyways and hidden passages and a thoroughly modern museum. Enjoy time for you to explore the city as you wish this afternoon. Later this evening you will take your seat at the spectacular world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. York via Jedburgh
Say goodbye to the rolling hills of Scotland while traveling south through the Borders Region, stopping at Jedburgh, an historic royal burgh dating back to the 17th century. Tonight, you’ll meet a local with many tales about life in Chester past and present.

Today visit a royal town in Wales, where it’s your choice! Visit Caernarfon Castle to discover the history behind one of Edward l’s most imposing castles -OR- take a leisurely stroll around the town with your Tour Manager seeking out local shops, cafes, and markets. Then take a scenic drive through the best of the Welsh landscape over the mountain pass to the quaint and picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed. This magical landscape holds a distinctly alpine feel and breathtaking natural beauty.

Bid farewell to Stratford and travel to the charming university city of Oxford. Upon arrival, we'll visit the Ashmolean Museum opened in 1682 as Britain’s first public museum, with collections ranging from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art Enjoy lunch on your own before continuing to London, England’s storied capital city.

Take in the sites of London on a tour of the city’s quintessential sights. Begin with a walking tour of Westminster and visit of the Abbey, where you see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Continue to Buckingham Palace, the official residence of His Majesty The King, and make your way to Trafalgar Square, one of London’s most vibrant spaces in the heart of the city.

Thursday, August 21 - Travel to Paris
Head to the train station and zip through the underwater tunnel that runs beneath the English Channel- known commonly as the “Chunnel”. In less than 3 hours you will be in Paris, the “City of Light” Be swept off your feet as the Paris of your dreams comes alive, joining a local expert to get to know the area surrounding your hotel on the way to a bistro dinner at the base of the Eiffel Tower- Madame Brasserie and then relaxing on a sightseeing cruise passing by illuminated landmarks as you drift softly along the Seine.
Friday, August 22 - Paris - Montmartre
Paris- Use the Metro underground system like a local, giving you the freedom to set off later as you wish. Our first stop, the hip neighborhood of Montmartre. Blending artistic roots and quirky modernity, this 18th arrondissement neighborhood is home to classical painters and cultural provocateurs. Venture into the Musee de Montmartre and glimpse the roots of cabaret and the lives of Paris most famous artists and take advantage of time at leisure to explore on your own. Or perhaps you will browse the shops of L’ Opera District where you’ll have time to peruse luxury Parisian retailers or take a stroll down the Champs-Elysees and pause at the local café for some people-watching.
Saturday, August 23 - Notre-Dame Cathedral and Palace of Versailles
This day we will have a 12-hour coach and 8-hour local guide taking us to Notre-Dame Cathedral, Versailles Palace and a drive by the LDS Temple located by Versailles. Tonight, we will have a farewell dinner.
Sunday, August 24 - Depart Paris for Home
Wish Paris goodbye as you transfer to the airport for your flight back to the USA.
