Benvenuti a Roma! After arriving at the Rome airport, we will get a transfer to the city center. Head out for a relaxed walking tour to stretch your legs and immerse yourself in Rome’s golden glow. Climb the romantic Spanish Steps, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, stand in awe under the dome of the Pantheon. The day concludes with a warm welcome dinner featuring Roman cuisine. After a break for lunch (on own), dive into the storied past of Ancient Rome. Gaze across the rooftops from Capitoline Hill, walk the Via Sacra through the Roman Forum. Florence Day Trip by High-Speed Train
Depart Rome by High-Speed train to Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance! Uncover the genius of the Renaissance with a morning guided walking tour. Pompeii - Sorrento
Depart Rome and journey south toward Campania. Explore the haunting ruins of Pompeii, the only archaeological site which gives the real image of a Roman city, with well-preserved buildings buried under meters of ash and lava after the Vesuvius eruption in 79 AD. At the time of the eruption, experts estimate the town had about 35,000 inhabitants. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Italy. Depart for a full-day excursion to the island of Capri. The craggy, flower-covered island is home to artistic, historical and natural wonders. From the ruins of Roman villas to splendid private residences, you can wander along little lanes amidst gardens overflowing with bougainvillea, plumbago and grapevines. Back in Sorrento, balance of the day is at leisure. Take the opportunity to explore its narrow streets and its local artisan shops.
