Today you need to depart your home city to arrive in New York City. Transfers are on your own. Enjoy the city and make your way to our hotel.  We have a 2-night city stay. 

New York City

Today we will have a group 1/2-day tour of the city. After our bus tour, you will have free time to explore on your own, see a show, or visit the Manhattan Temple (Temple will be closed for renovations, so we won't be able to serve in the temple).

You'll have time this morning for a late start, shopping, or some last-minute sight-seeing--your choice. We'll check out of our hotel and head to our home for the next 9 days-- the Liberty of the Seas Cruise ship.

Day at Sea

This thrill-packed ship has endless ways to fill your days between scenery scoping and whoa-worthy memory making. From the shriek inducing Tidal Wave℠, the first boomerang style slide at sea to kid favorite Splashaway Bay℠. Plus, the coolest ice rink entertainment and mouthwatering meals at every turn.

Boston, MA

Toting over 400 years of history, Boston is one of the oldest cities in America. Boston cruises allow you to see Revolution-era relics standing tall amid modern cityscapes, and homes where legendary patriots, politicians and poets once lived. Discover cobblestone charm in Beacon Hill and Paul Revere’s midnight route through the North End. Breathe in salty air along the Harborwalk and ride in a swan boat around Boston Public Garden. Once you set foot on the historic cobblestone streets of Portland, Maine, you'll know what keeps visitors flocking to these shores from around the world. Located in the heart of Casco Bay, Portland is home to a mix of activities, from outdoor adventures to artfully curated excursions and food experiences that will leave your taste buds wanting more during your cruise to Portland. Create an adventure in this sophisticated seaside city that perfectly matches your taste: Hike Casco Bay out to the lighthouse, peruse through the shops of Congress Street and the Old Port, or taste your way through the many highly regarded breweries inside the city limits and just beyond.

This excursion provides the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Maine coast, complete with lighthouses, seals, seabirds and the rugged coastline. Pack a meal, bring your favorite wine or beer, and sit back and relax as our courteous and professional crew share their knowledge of the sea, sailing and local history. Or, if you feel inspired, join the crew to hoist the sails or take a turn at the ship's wheel.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

The sight of the world's largest fiddle welcomes you to Sydney, Nova Scotia. In this enclave on Cape Breton Island, metropolitan charm meets down-home hospitality. Originally founded by Loyalists spooked by the American Revolution, Sydney remains a haven — but today, it's one replete with golf courses, a hearty music scene and the world-famous Cabot Trail. Step back into the 18th century while you walk among the town's classically inspired buildings and dramatically steepled churches. Cruise to Nova Scotia and stroll the boardwalk, indulge your inner lover of learning at the Cape Breton Centre for Heritage and Science, and end your day toe-tapping to Celtic beats.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Halifax was founded as a naval base in 1749 — but you'd never know it from the vibe of this bustling urban capital today. Peer a little closer and you'll see the Citadel, the star-shaped fortress that still stands guard from its hilltop perch. Discover historic architecture, restaurants, museums and boutique shops on the restored waterfront. Hop a ferry to Dartmouth or visit Peggy's Cove. Jump onboard a Nova Scotia cruise and spend your day whale-watching, or sailing, and celebrate the day with some of the best beer and lobster the Maritimes have to offer.

Peggy's Point Lighthouse, situated in the charming fishing community of Peggy's Cove, is the most well-known, most visited, and perhaps most photographed of all the approximately 160 historic lighthouses in the province of Nova Scotia.

Constructed more than a century ago, the lighthouse towers over massive granite rocks and the roaring Atlantic Ocean waves. Take some time to stroll around the picturesque surroundings before heading down to the quaint, bustling fishing village, which has stores, restaurants, the William deGarthe Art Gallery, and more.

St. John, New Brunswick (Bay of Fundy)

In Saint John, New Brunswick, you'll discover a perfect mixture of natural and urban adventures. Canada's oldest incorporated city, Saint John is also the country's third-largest port and the only city located on the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. Cruise to New Brunswick and stretch your legs while you catch a view of the bay on the Skywalk. Then, discover the local bounty at Saint John City Market, North America's oldest continuing farmers market, and check out its rafters that resemble a ship's inverted hull. Later, head out to explore Irving Nature Park's trails and Rockwood Park, a Stonehammer Geopark site.

Optional Group Shore Excursion-Top Ten Highlights and Bay of Fundy- $109 per person

Grab your camera and get ready to explore Saint John and Saint Martin. Saint John, also known as the Greatest Little City in the East, is a vibrant waterfront town and you'll soon understand why as you immerse yourself in its Victorian charms, Irish roots and friendly people. You will also visit Saint Martin, the village was founded as Quaco in 1783 by soldiers from the disbanded loyalist King's Orange Rangers. Life here is governed by the rhythm of the world's highest tides.

Down in the quaint fishing village of Saint Martin you will find the world's best seafood chowder and the world-famous Bay of Fundy. This special bay has the world's highest tides thanks to its unique delta shape. At the extreme, the difference between the low and high tides can measure up to 19 meters!

Day at Sea

Royal Caribbean is the first and only cruise line with ice-skating rinks right onboard, plus complimentary ice spectaculars with amazing jumps, lifts, and spins performed by professional skaters.

Disembarkation - Flights Home

Today we leave our ship, but before our flights home, we'll spend a few last hours in New York City, visiting The Statue of Liberty and other stops before heading to the airport. We'll return home with wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
