Although the Saints were not able to complete the temple, the cornerstones and property remain as a testament of their faith and devotion to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our next stop is Adam-ondi-Ahman. Spring Hill was named "Adam-ondi-Ahman" by the Prophet Joseph Smith, as indicated by the Lord in revelation (see D&C 116).  We then continue to Nauvoo.

This evening we see the production "Sunset on the Mississippi" and then walk the Trail of Hope reading excerpts from diaries of the Saints who joined the Mormon exodus from Nauvoo in 1846.
