Join our experienced Tour Host Carlos Fida. He is a native of Argentina, where he held teaching positions at the University of Patagonia and at the Military Academy.  He has lectured for university groups on the rich history of pre-Colombian and modern Latin American history.  He has devoted 39 years of his life as a highly qualified specialist in Latin American travel.

Joseph Conrad said: “There is no getting away from a treasure that once fastens to your mind.” This happens to every visitor that in one way or another visited Machu Picchu; The lost Citadel of the Incas.

Morris Columbus Travel offers this amazing journey by opening a window to the to the world of the Incas, the most important civilization in the Americas. The Inca Empire lasted from 1438 till 1533. During this time, they conquered many other civilizations, some dating back to 4000 years BC. Colonial Lima and its museum will immerse you into a “new world”. Palaces, mansions and centuries old churches and convents are part of the tour. The imperial city of Cuzco, the center of the empire, is a historical celebration of two cultures, the Conquistador who brought the Christian faith and the Incas who worshipped the Sun. The syncretism between the two religions could be observed in artwork, architecture. The cathedral is one of the examples, where walls and altarpieces are covered in silver and gold. The Sacred Valley of the Incas is dotted with small villages and Indian markets, where life has not changed over the centuries. Machu Picchu, “The Lost Citadel of the Incas” perched on top of the Andes is the top highlight South America.

This tour is for sure a BUCKET LIST experience!  Come make new friends while living your adventurer side dream.
