Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy a morning game drive or you may choose a optional hot air balloon safari, a highlight for anyone! Later this morning we will visit a local Maasai village to observe the tribe’s way of life and learn about its culture and beliefs. They are a proud warrior tribe whose lives and culture revolve around herding cattle. You will get a brief glimpse into the hardworking lives of the women and girls, who are responsible for all of the domestic tasks, as well as milking cows and often travelling extensive distances to collect water. Men and boys focus their attention on the care of their cattle, hunting for food and protecting the community. The Maasai are known for their colorful traditional dress and beaded adornments. This afternoon enjoy lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game drive. The drama of the Mara is never ending, the cycle of life and death is seemingly endless. It is this sheer magnetism that has captivated all of us and will captivate you. Return to camp, at the end of the day, for a farewell dinner. Ponder the wonder that is Africa, as the night and its inhabitants settle around you.
