Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

Welcome to South Africa. You will be met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport by our representative, who will assist with your luggage, and transfer to your hotel in the Cape Town Bowl area. You will be memorized by the beautiful bay surrounded by the amazing Table Mountain in the distance. Today you will rest from your travel so you are ready to start your explorations tomorrow.

Day 2: Table Mountain & Cape Town City Tour

This morning you will be collected from your hotel and escorted to the foot of Table Mountain. Since the first person laid eyes on Table Mountain, it has exerted its powerful and charismatic pull, enchanting and drawing any and all that fall under its spell. Table Mountain is one of the official New 7 Wonders of Nature, following a lengthy international public voting process. You can get to the top of Cape Towns most famous icon in just five minutes by taking a cable car up, or spend the better part of your day hiking it. Table Mountain is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to over 1 500 species of plants (more than the number found throughout the entire British Isles), most of them fynbos, which forms one of the worlds six plant kingdoms all on its own. At its highest point, Table Mountain reaches 1 085m (3 560ft) and affords views all the way to Robben Island and beyond.

After these spectacular views you will proceed to the Castle of Good Hope and the South African Museum.

Day 3: Cape of Good Hope tour

Our journey to Cape Point takes us along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road. We pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and assure blue water. The formidable 12 Apostles Peaks rise above the road on one side, while sheer cliffs and incredible rock formations drop into the icy Atlantic Ocean on the other side. There is no doubt the coast of the Cape peninsula offers magnificent scenery with its great biodiversity. We arrive at the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay with its imposing Sentinel. Optional Visit Seal Island or shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbour. Our tour continues over Chapmans Peak which offers amazing photo opportunities, and onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. This area is home to magnificent fynbos, many different species of buck and birds, the Cape Mountain Zebra, and mischievous baboons.

Take the funicular to the lighthouse. We visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguins before arriving at the naval base of Simons town. With the sun setting over the tall peaks of Table Mountain the last rays sparkle on the trees and flowers, and offer fitting end to a day filled with all the Cape has to offer.

Day 4: Cape Town to Kruger National Park

You will be collected at your hotel and transferred to Cape Town Airport to check in for your onward flight to Johannesburg. (Flight not included)

Day 5: 2 Game drives in Kruger Park

Today you will have the opportunity to enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive inside the renowned Kruger National Park.

Set against a backdrop of lush green mountainous vegetation, the natural design and architecture of Mabula Private Game Lodge falls softly on the eye as it superbly blends in with the natural surroundings. Upon arrival, the spacious, uncluttered, elegantly furnished lounge and reception area immediately set a relaxed, friendly and inviting tone.

Exclusive accommodation in air-conditioned luxury thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms have been designed to offer guests complete comfort and relaxation in this beautiful natural setting. Splendid 'African Style' decor through the use of wood, cane, natural stone, animal print fabrics. As well as terracotta, green and earthy colours, serves to further enhance the ambience throughout the lodge which leaves an ever-lasting first impression.

Day 6: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

The morning we will start off bright and early for our game drive. Try to spot the Big Five for the last time before we return to the concrete jungle via flight back to Johannesburg for an eye opening tour of the Soweto Township, home of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu.

Soweto is a sprawling township, or more accurately, a cluster of townships on the south-western flank of Johannesburg. Soweto was created in the 1930s, with Orlando the first township established. In the 1950s, more black people were relocated there from 'black spots' in the inner city - black neighborhoods which the apartheid government had reserved for whites. With a population of over 2 million, the township is the biggest black urban settlement in Africa with a rich political history. Soweto was the centre of political campaigns aimed at the overthrow of the apartheid state. The 1976 student uprising started in Soweto and spread to the rest of the country. Many of the sights on this route therefore have political significance. From the footbridge of the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, the largest on the continent, one can get a panoramic view of Soweto. Visit the Hector Pieterson Museum in Orlando West, Soweto, built in memory of the people who died that day, 16 June 1976. Nelson Mandela's humble little house in Orlando West, Soweto, now called the Mandela Family Museum, is an interesting stopover for those keen to imbibe a slice of authentic history on the world's most famous former prisoner. The museum, a house comprising four interleading rooms, contains a rather eclectic assortment of memorabilia, paintings and photographs of the Mandela family as well as a collection of honorary doctorates bestowed on Nelson Mandela from universities and institutions around the world. You can also have a glimpse of the mansion belonging to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in an affluent part of Orlando West. Archbishop Desmond Tutu's house and the Sisulu residences are in the same neighborhood.

Tonight you will stay in the heart of the thrilling city of Johannesburg.

Day 7: Johannesburg to Victoria Falls

Today we will be transferred back to the O.R. Tambo International Airport in for a flight to the town of Victoria Falls.

Guests will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel to relax and enjoy the amazing views of the Zambezi River.

Day 8: Tour of Victoria Falls

The morning is devoted to exploring the Victoria Falls from different vantage points. The falls are situated in the Zambezi River between the countries of Zimbabwe and Zambia. It has been described as one of the world's natural wonders, and few who have seen its imposing grandeur have not stood in awe at the spectacle. On return to the hotel some time is provided for relaxation. Guests are met during the afternoon for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The views of the surrounding wilderness areas and glimpses of different mammals as they come to the water's edge for a drink, remind us of an Africa, as seen by the legendary explorers and missionaries.

Day 9: A Fond Farewell...

You will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport to check in for your return flight to Johannesburg (flight not included).
