Depart Salt Lake City by bus to St George, UT
Depart Salt Lake City on a luxury motor coach. Stop at the historical Cove Fort and then enjoy the beauty as the bus climbs to over 10,000 feet of elevation to view the spectacular Cedar Breaks National Monument. Continue along the ridgetop and experiencing the views while driving down Cedar Canyon. After checking into the Abbey Inn Hotel and having dinner we will attend the fun and entertaining play “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at the Cedar City Shakespeare Festival.

Mountain Meadow Historical Site - Tuacahn
After a hot buffet breakfast at the hotel we board the motor coach for a back roads trip to Saint George. Our first stop will be at the pioneer Mountain Meadow Historical Site where conflicts between the Mormon pioneers and an incoming wagon train came to a head. Along the way we pass the tiny town of Veyo which is famous for its tasty pies. Along highway 18 you will see the remnants of 10,000 year old volcanoes that spewed lava that flowed all the way to Santa Clara. Turning off the highway we will proceed down the beautiful Snow Canyon State Park before entering Saint George. Lunch is on your own before checking into the highly rated Desert Garden Hotel. After enjoying dinner we will head to Tuacahn passing by the historic home of Jacob Hamblin who helped settle the area and befriended the Native Americans. Enjoy an unforgettable play at the famous Tuacahn Amphitheater.

Saint George City Tour including: Brigham Young’s winter home, the Saint George Tabernacle, The Saint George Temple Visitor Center and more, ending at the Outlet mall where you can get your lunch and shop. After a buffet dinner you will experience another amazing play at Tuacahn.
